Your browser is out of date
Some colors and layouts may not display correctly. Please update your browser. Edge and Chrome no longer update on Windows 7 and 8.1, so use Firefox there.
What works today — pick the fastest path for your platform.
Not just storage. Everything you save gets read, organized, findable again — and can grow into a project.
The fastest desktop path. Installing gives you five weapons: right-click save / ⌗ page picker (sweeps right-click-blocked sites like Instagram, moves whole Pinterest boards) / ▭ region screenshot (for everything else) / grab the current video frame / ◉ hover-to-save (a Save button floats over any large image).
Hover-to-save has its own toggle in the popup. It asks for all-sites access once when enabled; turning it off hands the permission back.
iPhone won't let PWAs into the system share sheet (Apple limit), but a tiny Shortcut does the same thing — and one tap installs it. Closest you'll get to a native app feel: in Pinterest / Instagram / Photos, long-press image → Share → CREA.
A Shortcut is iOS's built-in lightweight extension format (iOS 13+). No App Store, no extra storage. Remove anytime in Shortcuts.app.
Apple's iOS won't let other apps share directly into a PWA. The workaround: install CREA as a home-screen app, then use iOS's native copy/paste — same muscle memory as moving an image into Notes or Photos.
Tip: the same paste works on Mac — Cmd+V anywhere on the captures page uploads the clipboard image.
Once Chrome installs CREA as a PWA, CREA shows up in the system share menu. See an image in Pinterest, Instagram, your photo library, or any browser — Share → CREA, and the fragment lands here.
iOS Safari does not support this API (Apple system limitation). iPhone users — see method 02 above.
If you can write a tiny script — or use Raycast, Alfred, Automator, Tasker, etc. — POST directly to CREA's inbox endpoint.
curl -X POST https://crea.website/api/inbox/capture \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"type": "IMAGE",
"sourceUrl": "https://example.com/page",
"imageUrl": "https://example.com/photo.jpg",
"title": "Optional title",
"description": "Optional note"
}'type can be IMAGE / LINK / NOTE. Pass a direct image URL via imageUrl. To upload the image bytes (multipart), get in touch.
Build a shortcut in Apple's Shortcuts.app that calls CREA's API. It then appears in the iOS share sheet — practically the same as a browser extension.
Want a ready-made .shortcut file? Tell us — we'll write one.
No need to re-save one by one. With the extension installed, "Pick images on this page" collects every visible image at once — works on your Pinterest boards, Huaban boards, any bookmarks page.
Local folders: "+ Upload from device" on the fragments page accepts multi-select.
