An issue built only from pairs: each spread is one old image and one new photograph that rhyme. No text except a caption and the paper stock. Twelve spreads, 32 pages, uncoated 150 g, one colour of ink for the captions.

Poppies as a repeat. Pair with a photograph of a single poppy. The story is in the gap between them.

Diamond repeat, a thousand years old. Pair with a chain-link fence, same scale. Watch what happens.
Never one image. Two, facing. One old, one new; one flat, one photographed; one loud, one almost blank. The reader does the rest.
Put two things next to each other and the meaning lives in the gutter. Don't explain the pair. If it needs a caption, it's the wrong pair.
Print run 300. Sold at two bookshops in Paris and one in Tokyo.
