Central Tokyo — scout on your way home from a meeting

SHIBUYA QWS Scramble Hall (Shibuya) Directly connected to Shibuya Station — load in without ever touching rain. A 200-person event space with a rare overhead view of the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, well suited to talks, interviews and screening events.

Studio Badw (Yotsuya) Three minutes on foot from Yotsuya Station. An industrial, stylish house studio with a refined kitchen space — central access plus lifestyle scenes in one.

The Factory Jingumae (Harajuku) Walking distance from Meiji-Jingumae Station. 76m² split between herringbone flooring and mortar floor, with a large white wall and an L-shaped kitchen. Paired with curated vintage furniture, it covers living, dining and kitchen scenes.

The Kitasando one-minute pair — a same-day two-venue shoot is realistic

Studio Peak Kitasando 1F / GARDEN KITCHEN (Kitasando) One minute from Kitasando Station, over 100m² with a garden. A deep island kitchen you can actually cook in, covering everything from lifestyle scenes to product shots.

STUDIO SAND (Kitasando) Also one minute from Kitasando Station: four floors, each themed differently — living, dining, kitchen, bedroom, wood deck. One building, many scenes. It sits within a one-minute walk of Studio Peak, so a two-venue day is genuinely feasible.

Old-town and Kamakura — the shots you assumed were "far away"

GREEN BOX IKEJIRI (Ikejiri-Ohashi) Three minutes from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station, a 70-year-old kominka fully renovated into a three-storey studio. Skylight, island kitchen, attic room and balcony stacked vertically.

Kominka HUG (Yokohama, Myorenji) Two minutes from Myorenji Station on the Tokyu Toyoko line. Beyond a bamboo path sits a hideaway single-storey house: wide tatami rooms, an engawa veranda, sliding-door entrance — traditional Japanese frames, two minutes from the platform. A professional-grade kitchen supports re-enactment shoots.

Kita-Kamakura STUDIO (Kita-Kamakura) Three minutes from JR Kita-Kamakura Station, a traditional sukiya-style residence on 1,090m² of grounds. Solid wood and plaster finishes, multiple buildings including a sauna and open-air bath. It breaks the assumption that a Kamakura shoot means a logistics headache.
