Run a whole shoot on CREA

From checking availability to sending the invoice, one shoot passes through four tools. This page spells out each step: what you do, what your crew sees, what you get.

01D-3 · Availability first

What you do

Open Availability, pick candidate dates, write one line about the shoot, choose who to ask. Everyone gets their own link.

What your crew sees

A reply page with no login: ○△× per date, ten seconds. They can't see who else was asked or how others replied.

What you get

A date-by-person grid — the day everyone can make lights up. The system never nags non-responders; chasing is your call.

02D-1 · One link is the call sheet

What you do

Build the call sheet in your project and hit publish. Drop the permanent link in the group chat. Edits? Publish again — the link never changes.

What your crew sees

The latest version on any phone — no app, no signup. Changes are flagged at the top, and readers can leave a name.

What you get

The read panel: who's read it, who's on the old version, who hasn't opened it. Post-send anxiety becomes a checklist.

03Shoot day · Receipts logged on the spot

What you do

When crew front cash, they open the project finance page, snap the receipt, enter the amount, submit. You approve and mark paid on the same page.

What your crew sees

Every claim they filed has a transparent status: submitted, approved, paid.

What you get

The books balance on wrap day. Export a CSV for accounting. Thirteen crumpled receipts never reach your pocket.

04After wrap · A compliant invoice in 3 minutes

What you do

Pull the client and line items from a past project, enter your registration number, save the PDF from the browser.

What your crew sees

What arrives is a properly formatted qualified invoice — rates segregated, tax rounded correctly.

What you get

Yearly income totals itself. Invoicing goes from a monthly weight to a closing formality.

Why nobody on set complains

  • Call sheets readable without an account — zero signups for the crew
  • Availability replies need no login — ten seconds on any phone
  • Only the person who starts things needs a CREA account

The more you use it, the thicker your archive

Nothing these tools record goes to waste: who you worked with, how often, in what way — it grows into your crew list on its own, and your monthly reflection sees who you actually worked with. All of it visible to you alone.
