Natural-Light House Studios in Tokyo — 7 Spaces Lit by the Sun
Dual-aspect windows, lace curtains, light that lasts till dusk. Real, rentable rooms built around the sun.

Strobes can fake almost anything except the way real daylight wraps a face. The angle, the softness, the way it changes minute to minute — that's why a window-lit room still beats a white cyc for so much work.
These seven house studios on CREA were chosen for one thing: the quality of their natural light. For portraits, lookbooks, product and lifestyle shoots where the light is half the picture.
STUDIO SAND — Shibuya, Sendagaya A four-storey studio one minute from Kita-sandō. Big windows on every floor, dual-aspect on the third, top-light on the fourth — a different mood per level, plus a working kitchen and wood deck.
MYTONE STUDIO — Shibuya, Nampeidai Solid-timber floors and tiled surfaces, dual-aspect light made for portraits and product. A 80㎡ house layout with living room, bedroom and kitchen.
aL/Right STUDIO — Setagaya, Wakabayashi Morning light from the east, afternoon-to-sunset light from the west — daylight that lasts all day, plus a free kit of LEDs, flags and stands and an architect-designed movable kitchen.
Tansui Studio — Meguro, Jiyūgaoka A vintage apartment fully renovated by a licensed architect. A south-facing balcony pours in light you can dial with honeycomb screens; brick-tile and mortar finishes throughout.
The Factory Jingumae — Shibuya, Jingūmae Walking distance from Meiji-Jingūmae. Bright dual-aspect light over herringbone floors and mortar, a big white wall and L-shaped kitchen for living-dining scenes.
studio.6128 — Meguro, Shimomeguro Soft light from a mortar bay window warms a wood wall; a black-framed window throws crisp light on white. Three wall materials and lace curtains for endless variations.
PEEL — Shinagawa Above a furniture workshop in a triangle of railway lines. Deep fixed windows light a high-ceilinged room set with living, kitchen, bedroom and balcony, across textured plaster, warm board and plain white walls.
